#MOBIUS FINAL FANTASY PHANTASMIC COIL SERIES#
Once Wol and Mog reach the Runic Temple, Wol battles a series of monsters to clear the way to the Intercrystal.

They meet some Blanks who guard a temple, who fill the void in their hearts with duty and the feeling they get from helping others, which causes them to forget to move forward. Mog wants to take Wol to the Runic Temple at Plains of Cornelia as per the prophecy.

Mog explains that some Blanks use the feelings they get from the rush of battle to fill the void in their hearts, and so become addicted to doing battle. Mog takes Wol to Warhaven to rest where they meet two Blanks discussing how many kills they have gotten. Wol saves the moogle, who introduces himself as Mog, and vows to protect his new "Master". Moogles share a common mind and saving one will make all moogles indebted to him. He introduces himself as Garland and explains his role is to temper Blanks that show prospect of becoming the Warrior of Light. The man explains no one else will help, citing a law of Palamecia, "None pay heed to those without the will to fight". In Plains of Cornelia, Wol spots a struggling moogle and is encouraged by the armor-clad man to help him. Vox introduces Wol a new law: "Your mettle is constantly being tested." As Wol continues his journey he comments on how everything feels like home despite his memory loss. An armor-clad man appears to reiterate Vox's words. Vox explains that name carries a special meaning, as it is the name of a hero foretold to bring hope to Palamecia: the Warrior of Light, and that one of the men will become that hero.Ĭonsidering the new arrivals "blank slates", Vox names them Blanks and advises them to go north. The man remembers his name is Wol, but the others men remember having the same name. After the men fight the monsters, Vox asks their names. Monsters emerge and the disembodied voice of Vox speaks of a law of Palamecia: "None shall remember the names of those who do not fight".

The man lies on a beach in a strange world with a sword at his hand, many others beside him. As an amnesiac man arrives in Palamecia on a stream of light, a mysterious voice introduces itself as " Vox" and explains his ties to the past are no longer valid in the world he is arriving.
